A NORTH Cornwall town is set to come alive as it celebrates the area’s rich history.
The Castle in Bude has announced the date of its highly anticipated Heritage Festival.
On Sunday, July 21, this historical landmark nestled in the heart of Bude will come alive with a celebration of the area’s rich history, vibrant culture, and strong community spirit.
Organisers have promised that the festival guarantees a captivating experience for visitors of all ages.
The event aims to offer a diverse range of engaging activities, including live music, enchanting performances, workshops and captivating talks on The Castle lawn.
As well as this, attendees can channel their inner performer as they enjoy a circus skills workshop. For those looking for a less physical experience, the event also looks to offer face painting, vintage rides and magic shows, and much more.
The popular ‘Dog Show’, which is supported by Tamar vets, along with artisan craft traders, delightful local cuisine, and stalls featuring incredible community groups are just a taste of what awaits attendees.
Mark Berridge, Castle Manager said:“We invite everyone to explore the incredible history and culture that Bude has to offer.
“We look forward to welcoming locals and visitors alike to this event.”
A spokesperson added: “The Heritage Festival promises to be an immersive, multi-sensory experience that the whole family can enjoy.”
The festival will be open from 11am to 4pm and with free admission, an event not to be missed!
