THE Holsworthy branch of RGB Building Supplies is holding a day of fundraising today (Thursday), as it aims to raise as much money as possible for Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW).

All 20 branches are taking part in the charity’s ‘£50 Challenge’ where they will go head-to-head against each other to see which depot can raise the most money, after spending no more than £50 on developing a fundraising activity.

The Holsworthy branch is holding a ‘Barrow of Booze’ raffle and is inviting customers and the local community to visit and help staff with their fundraising efforts. Those entering the raffle will need to prove they are over 18 years of age.

Les Ellender, branch manager at RGB Holsworthy, said: “Our charity events are always extremely well supported by our customers and we’re certain that our £50 Challenge day will be no different. Children’s Hospice South West is our chosen charity and we’re delighted to be raising money to help them continue with their fantastic work.
