ART-lovers in Bude are set to benefit from a dramatic increase in artistic programmes as North Coast Arts boosts its offerings.
Bude based North Coast Arts has announced that it will be increasing the scale of its artistic programme for the coming year. With 50 live shows planned for 2025, there will be ample opportunity for people of all ages and interests to be inspired by a diverse range of indoor and open-air arts events.
North Coast Arts director, Richard Wolfenden-Brown explained: “Bude is becoming a vibrant town for theatre, music and creativity of all kinds and now has a growing range of local venues to suit the diverse cultural scene.
“North Coast Arts is delighted to be expanding its offer and hopes to attract audiences and participants from across North Cornwall, especially as we are now also promoting some events at Wadebridge Town Hall, as well as a packed programme for Bude.”
With a variety of events planned, residents and visitors are being invited to to enjoy all sorts of artistic entertainment, bringing some of Cornwall and the UK’s top talents to the town.
Richard continued: “The programme is broad – from the cream of the nation’s open-air theatre companies, to Multi-Story Theatre, the poet laureate Simon Armitage and the household name Rick Stein, to comedians and poets Arthur Smith, Harry Baker and Rich Hall, to a regional young bands night, an Al Fresco Folk Festival, Andy Fairweather-Low, Chris Wood, James Dixon, Ben Bamford, Fifi La Mer, Budapest Café Orchestra, Fford5, The Country Strong Band, to a wide range of tribute bands including 80s Mixtape, Mumford & Sons, This Is Floyd, Voodoo Room, Legends of Motown, Pure Queen, Fearlessly Taylor and support Elowen, and the return of Fleetwood Unchained, Beatles Complete, Simon and Garfunkel and Bude’s own BowiePR with Paul Roberts.”
