Devon and Cornwall Police have confirmed that there is a temporary closure in place along a stretch of the A30 due to a vehicle fire.
The stretch of the westbound road at Lifton has been closed by emergency services.
The force has advised drivers to use alternative routes at this time, as the incident is impacting traffic in both directions.
