POLICE have issued a message of reassurance to a village after a spate of anti-social behaviour.
Residents in Delabole have reported numerous incidents of anti-social behaviour within their village, involving the kicking of doors and throwing of items at those properties.
It has led to its local neighbourhood policing team stating that there will be increased patrols in the area, with perpetrators ‘dealt with robustly’.
PC Mick Lenehan, from the Camelford neighbourhood policing team for Devon and Cornwall Police, said: “We are receiving numerous reports of anti-social behaviour specifically in the Delabole area relating to youths kicking residents’ doors and throwing things at houses.
“There will be increased patrols in the area, and anyone identified as committing these offences will be dealt with robustly.”
