DEVON and Cornwall Police have updated their appeal for information following the assault of a woman in Okehampton.
Officers investigating a serious assault in Okehampton have identified two females they wanted to speak to in connection with the incident.
It follows a picture appeal from the force earlier today, (Friday, December 3).
Investigating officers are still keen to identify and speak to the two males pictures as it is believed they may be able to help with enquiries.
The assault took place on East Street, outside Bradley’s estate agent at around 2.45am on Sunday, December 8.
It was reported that a woman was punched in the face by an unknown man before being struck with a glass bottle.
She sustained a fracture and bleeding wound that required stitches.
A police spokesperson added: “We are aware the quality of the images isn’t of the highest quality but it is all we have available at present.
“Anybody able to assist in identifying those pictured is asked to contact police on 101 or via our website quoting 50240309985 and the investigating officer will get back to you.”
