FIRE CREWS from Wadebridge Community Fire Station were called to something of a ‘mini cliff-hanger’ after a car was reported to be parked in a ‘precarious position’ on an embankment.

The vehicle was located at Polzeath and after an assessment identified the vehicle as electric, it was winched to a safe location.

A spokesperson said: “In the morning of September 19, we were mobilised to a vehicle in a precarious position over an embankment in Polzeath. On arrival it was discovered that the vehicle was electric. After an assessment by the officer in charge, a winch was used to recover the vehicle to a safe location.”
